Fusaro Leads Trojans During Final Day at the Bruin Diving Invitational

Senior Henry Fusaro finished second overall in the men's 1-meter competition to lead the USC divers during their final day at the Bruin Diving Invitational in Westwood on Sunday (Jan. 19).
Fusaro was a close second in the men's 1-meter competition, ending the day with a 724.05, 359.05 coming from prelims. Teammate George Korovin who placed in the top-ten yesterday on men's platform, finished in fifth place this afternoon in the men's 1-meter event with a final score of 608.25.
Freshman Nike Agunbade secured the third overall spot in the women's platform event with a total of 508.85. Naomi Gowlett also finished in the top-ten, coming in seventh overall in the women's platform competition with a final score of 466.80, 235.30 coming from prelims.
USC has six divers who have posted NCAA qualifying scores. In a little over a month they will travel to Washington to compete in the Pac-12 championships.
