Freshmen Lead Trojan Diving Squad at Bruin Diving Invitational

Korovin and Agunbiade combine for two top-10 finishes
Freshmen George Korovin and Nike Agunbiade finished in the top ten in men's platform and women's 3-meter to lead the USC men's and women's divers during the second day of the Bruin Diving Invitational in Westwood on Saturday (Jan. 18).
Korovin finished 6th in men's platform competition with a two-round score of 616.30, 278.50 came from the preliminary round. The freshman was the only member of the Trojan diving squad to compete in the men's platform competition.
Agunbiade ended the day 7th overall in the women's 3-meter competition with a final score of 593.10. Seniors Carly Souza (240.80 – prelims) and Naomi Gowlett (235.70 – prelims) also competed in the 3-meter competition but fell just shy of the top-18 cutoff.
Action concludes Sunday with women's platform and men's 1-meter competition starting at 10:30 a.m. PT.
