USC Women's Rowing Travels to Texas to Compete in Longhorn Invitational

The No. 11 USC women's rowing team travels to Austin, Texas this weekend to compete in the Longhorn Invitational. The regatta, hosted by Texas, will take place at Lake Walter E. Long on the evening of Friday, April 26 and in the morning on Saturday, April 27.
In addition to the Trojans, seven other top crews will take to the water: No. 4 Texas, No. 10 Virginia, No. 13 Iowa, No. 16 Indiana, No. 18 Oregon State, No. 20 Oklahoma and Notre Dame.
USC's first race will begin tonight at 7:10 p.m. CT as the Varsity Four takes on three other teams in their heat: Notre Dame, Texas and Indiana. The Trojan Second Varsity Eight will challenge that same group at 7:30 p.m. CT and the Varsity Eight will close out the evening of racing at 7:50 p.m. CT. Teams will accrue points based on the NCAA scoring system, see below.
Saturday's races will be broken down into an A and B final. The top team from each heat on Friday night will progress to the A Final. In addition, the next two fastest teams will also earn placement in the A Final. The remaining teams will compete in the B Final.
