USC Signs Graduate Transfer Guard Quinton Adlesh

Graduate transfer guard Quinton Adlesh has signed to play his final season of eligibility at USC for the 2019-20 season, it was announced by USC men's basketball head coach Andy Enfield today (April 1). Adlesh is expected to graduate from Columbia this spring with a degree in Political Science.
The 6-0, 195-pound guard Adlesh played in all 28 games for Columbia during the 2018-19 season, starting the last 12, and averaging 13.5 points and 2.6 rebounds for the season.  He also had 71 assists and made a team-leading 70 three-point baskets. Adlesh was second on Columbia in scoring and 10th among all Ivy League players. He also ranked third in three-point percentage (37.2 percent) and fourth in total three-pointers made among Ivy League players. Adlesh had 45 steals to lead Columbia and his 1.6 steals per game average ranked second in the Ivy League. At the Columbia awards banquet at the end of the season, Adlesh secured the Walter H. Bernson Memorial award, given to the member of the team who best exemplifies the qualities of team spirit, hustle and determination.
Adlesh played in 86 games and averaged 9.9 points in his career at Columbia. He made 180 three-point baskets and shot 40.5 percent from beyond the arc in his Columbia career. He made 44.2 percent of his three-point shots during the 2017-18 season which led the Ivy League and ranked 14th nationally. He scored a personal best 24 points in a game at Harvard on Feb. 8, 2019. Â
Adlesh will join USC's previously announced recruiting class of 2019 McDonald's All-American forward Isaiah Mobley, 2018 California "Mr. Basketball" and 2019 L.A. Times Player of the Year forward Onyeka Okongwu, All-Southern California forward Max Agbonkpolo and All-Georgia Region 7 guard and All-State honorable mention Kyle Sturdivant. In addition, USC is expected to have the services of Drake London, a USC football signee, who along with Mobley and Okongwu were named to the 10-man Los Angles All-Area men's high school basketball team.
USC's incoming class is a consensus top five group and USC has now had six consecutive top 30 classes under Enfield.
