Trojan 1-2-3 sweep on women's 3-meter
USC freshman George Korovin took first on men's platform while freshman Nike Agunbiade led a 1-2-3 Trojan sweep on women's 3-meter with Carly Souza and Naomi Gowlett during the second day of the Trojan Diving Invitational, Saturday, (Nov. 9), at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Agunbiade won the women's 3-meter with 660.50, including a 352.40 in the final. Senior teammates Carly Souza and Naomi Gowlett finished 2-3 with 630.80 and 625.60.
Korovin led the Trojans to a first-place finish on men's platform with 642.20, 324.95 coming in prelims.
Action concludes Sunday with women's platform and men's 1-meter prelims at 11 a.m. and finals at 12:30 p.m. Â
