Senior theater major picks up high academic accolades.
Senior Jens Sweaney closes out his USC tennis career as an ITA Scholar-Athlete thanks to a standout effort in the classroom and on the courts for the Trojans. A native of Australia, Sweaney secured his place on the ITA honor roll in finishing with a 3.5 GPA, placing him in the company of three other recent Trojans to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status — Max de Vroome (2015 & 2016), Michael Tang (2013) and Daniel Nguyen (2012). Sweaney earned a place on the USC tennis roster as a sophomore after serving as a team manager in his first year. He graduates with a degree in theater (acting) from the USC School of Dramatic Arts.
