USC’s Paige Hauschild Claims Another MPSF Newcomer of the Week Award

Freshman drummed up six goals across two key wins last week.
USC freshman Paige Hauschild scored six goals, had five assists and was a perfect 8-for-8 on opening sprints in back-to-back USC wins last week. For her all-around efforts, Hauschild has been selected the MPSF Newcomer of the Week for the third time this year.
Hauschild scored twice on two shots taken and added two assists in USC's 13-7 victory over No. 7 UC Irvine. The next day, USC squared off against No. 5 Hawai'i, where Hauschild was again perfect on opening sprints while leading all scorers with four goals on six shots taken. She also had three assists and a steal for the Trojans, who beat the Rainbow Wahine 12-7 to improve to 12-1 overall.
Hauschild and the Trojans are currently training in Hawai'i this week, lined up for another clash with the Rainbow Wahine this Saturday (March 17) in Honolulu.
