Souza Leads 3-Meter Sweep At Trojan Diving Invitational

Fusaro again leads USC men's divers, this time on platform.
Juniors Carly Souza and Naomi Gowlett and senior Madi Witt swept the women's 3-meter while Henry Fusaro was second among college divers in the men's platform on the second day of the Trojan Diving Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 10) at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

Souza, who won the 1-meter on Friday, claimed the 3-meter Saturday with 565.55 points, edging Gowlett's 558.15. Gowlett was first after prelims but Souza scored a final-best 288.30 points for first. Witt was third with 530.55 points.

Fusaro, who topped the collegiate divers on Friday on 1-meter, was second today on platform with 589.65. Junior Brad Dalrymple was sixth (495.90).

The meet wraps Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m.
