Five Women of Troy represented their countries at the competition in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Late last week (July 20-23), five USC rowers competed at the U23 World Rowing Championships held in Plovdoiv, Bulgaria. USC captain Ida Gørtz Jacobsen, Astrid Steensberg and Nikoline Laidlaw competed for Denmark, Chloe Brew stroked for Great Britain and Radka Novotnikova raced for the Czech Republic.

Jacobsen, Steensberg and Laidlaw each rowed in Danish Eight where they placed fifth overall in the Women's Eight A Final on Sunday (July 23). In addition, Jacobsen and Steensberg also raced in the Women's Four for Denmark, where they finished in fourth place in the A Final.

Chloe Brew also competed in the Women's Four as she stroked for Great Britain's team that placed sixth in the A Final.

Wrapping up the Women of Troy at the World Championships was Radka Novotnikova competing for the Czech Republic's Women's Four where they finished in fifth place in the B Final on Saturday (July 22).
