Brandon Holt Rolls Into Round of 32 At Oracle ITA National Fall Championships

Trojan sophomore pinned up a strong Round of 64 win today in Indian Wells.
INDIAN WELLS, CALIF. — The lone Trojan soldier out at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, sophomore Brandon Holt is holding his own in the singles draw. Qualified for competition as champion of the ITA Oracle Masters back in September, Holt punched up a straight-set win in today's Round of 64 to move on to tomorrow's Round of 32.
Ranked #11 in the land at the start of the 2017-18 season, the Trojans' ITA All-American was up against #122 Mitch Harper of Virginia Tech today. Holt was able to drum up a smooth 6-3, 6-2 win in that Round of 64 contest, moving him into tomorrows Round of 32. There, the No. 2 seed in the draw will face Florida State's #50 Lucas Poullain for the right to advance to the quarterfinals out in Indian Wells.
