Logan Smith Falls In ITA All-American Singles Main Draw

TULSA, OKLA. — USC junior Logan Smith is the Trojans' lone solider in the main draw at this year's Saint Francis Healt System ITA All American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Two of his Trojan teammates were upended in qualifying rounds, leaving Smith to fight on in the main draw, which began today in Tulsa.

Ranked #54 in the preseason singles rankings, Logan Smith was up against Tulsa's Majed Kilani in today's singles main draw first round. Kilani was up to the challenge and dished out a 6-4, 6-2 win over Smith to send the Trojan to consolation play starting tomorrow.

Also in action earlier in the week in Tulsa were Trojans Jack Jaede and Thibault Forget, who both fell in the first round of qualifying competition on Monday.

Also in recent action, sophomore Brandon Holt stepped out of collegiate play and into USTA Futures competition in Fountain Valley last week, going 1-1 at the event. All recent USC scores are below.
