MATCH NOTES
- USC fell to 2-1 in its all-time series with Santa Clara and lost back-to-back matches for the first time since Nov. 2014.
- The Trojans start a season 0-2 for the first time since 2008 and for only the fourth time in program history (1986, 1990, 2008). It is the first time USC has started 0-2 at home since 1990.
- The Broncos became just the fifth non-conference opponent to claim a victory over the Trojans at the Galen Center. The other four teams to hold that distinction are Hawai'i (2008, 2009), Texas A&M (2014), Florida (2014), and Marquette (2016).
- Freshman OH Khalia Lanier logged her first collegiate double-double with 18 kills and 10 digs.
- Sophomore OH Alyse Ford put up a career-best 16 digs.
