MATCH NOTES
- USC improved to 3-0 in all-time matches against Maryland.
- The Trojans completed pre-league non-conference matches with a perfect record (12-0) for the seventh time in 15 seasons under head coach Mick Haley. In four of those previous six seasons, the team went on to advance at least as far as the NCAA national semifinal match and twice won the NCAA championship (2002, '03).
- Senior OH Samantha Bricio tallied five service aces to mark the 16th time in her career that she has served five or more in a single match. It was also the 33rd time that she has had three aces or more in the same match.
- With 10 kills, freshman OH Alyse Ford had her third straight match in double digits for kills; her fifth this season.
