MATCH NOTES
- USC improved to 39-8 in all-time meetings with Pepperdine and has now won six straight against the Waves.
- The Trojans won their 23rd consecutive set and earned a seventh straight 3-0 sweep.
- The Women of Troy earned their fifth home victory and remain undefeated at the Galen Center this season.
- Senior OH Samantha Bricio recorded five service aces against Pepperdine to mark the 31st time in her career that has had at least three aces in a single match and the 15th time she has reached the five-ace mark. On the day, Bricio served 13 aces with the eight she had against Utah State.
- Bricio reached the 20-point mark for the fourth time this season. She led the team with 22.5 points.
- With 17 kills, Bricio moved ahead of Nancy Hillman (1985-88) for seventh in the program's history for career kills. She now has 1,548 and is just 28 from matching sixth-place April Ross (2000-03). Earlier in the day, Bricio had moved ahead of Katie Haller (1990-93) from ninth into eighth.
- Junior libero Taylor Whittingham had 16 digs to log her seventh match with double-digit digs.
