MATCH NOTES
- USC improved to 14-2 in all-time matches against Utah and avenged last year's 3-0 loss in Salt Lake City.
- The Trojans improved to 88-8 all-time when ranked No. 1 in the AVCA poll.
- USC produced its 13th straight-set sweep of an opponent this season; the sixth time away from Galen Center.
- The Women of Troy reached the 18-0 mark to start a season for the third time under head coach Mick Haley. Only two Haley USC teams had longer streaks to start seasons: 2002 (19-0) and 2003 (35-0).
- The Trojans finished with 10.0 blocks and reached the 10-block mark for the eighth straight match; the 10th time this season.
- Senior OH Samantha Bricio logged 17 kills to give her 1,729 in her career. She is now just 70 kills from tying USC's second all-time leader: Jennifer Kessy (1,799; 1995-98). Alex Jupiter (1,918; 2008-11) is the program's record holder.
- Freshman setter Baylee Johnson produced her seventh double-double of the season and finished with 19 assists and 11 digs.
- Three Trojans reached double-digit digs led by junior libero Taylor Whittingham who had match-high honors with 13 to lead the Trojans. Freshman Victoria Garrick had 10 digs and Johnson had 11.
