Enfield And His Former FGCU Team Win An ESPY

USC men's basketball head coach Andy Enfield and his former FGCU team won the ESPY for Best Upset at the 2013 ESPYs held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles tonight (July 17).
Enfield spoke to the audience about the team's preparation and belief as being crucial for them to be able to seize the moment when it arose.
Enfield led the No. 15 seed FGCU to a 78-68 upset win over the No. 2 seed Georgetown in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament, then took down San Diego State 81-71 in the second round to become the first No. 15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16. Not only did they post the impressive wins, but they did it with a flair, featuring fastbreaks and high-flying dunks. FGCU, it young, energetic and talented coach and team's moniker "Dunk City" captured the hearts of America.
USC was happy to announce on April 1 that Enfield had accepted an offer to become USC's new head coach and bring his up-tempo style to the Galen Center.
