
Emily Adams Named Keynote Speaker for USC Volleyball Banquet

LOS ANGELES - The USC women's volleyball team will hold its 2013 season-ending banquet on Saturday, January 11, 2014, in the Galen Center's Founders' Room located at the north end of the arena. Three-time USC All-American middle blocker Emily Adams has been chosen as the banquet's special guest speaker.
A reception will begin at 11 a.m. PT followed by the main program and awards presentation ceremonies at 11:30 a.m.
Tickets are $60 for the program and brunch. Fans who wish to become team patrons can donate $250. With their donation, team patrons receive brunch for two guests, reserved seating, and will have a portion of their donation specified to aid the women's volleyball program at USC.

Known as a defensive force and a prolific blocker, she also ranks fifth at USC in career blocks and is tied for fourth for most blocks in a single match in Pac-12 history. She is just one of five Trojans ever to log 400 blocks and 1,000 kills in her career. Adams painted her name throughout the Trojan record books and was honored on the district, conference, and national levels for her achievements as a USC student-athlete. She graduated from the University in 2005 with a degree in international relations and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Adams began working for Mizuno USA in 2008 as a promotions coordinator and now serves as business unit manager for volleyball apparel and accessories.
