Nine-Team USC Men's Volleyball Fall Tournament This Weekend

The USC men's volleyball squad will host the 9-team pre-season USC Fall Tournament this Friday and Saturday (Oct. 19 and 20) in the Galen Center Pavilion.
The Trojans will be joined by Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponents UCLA, UC Irvine, Long Beach State, Cal State Northridge, Stanford, Pacific and Cal Baptist, plus non-conference foe Grand Canyon.
Admission is free. The Galen Center Pavilion is adjacent to the Galen Center, with the volleyball courts on the upstairs level.
All matches will be the best of 3 sets, with the first 2 sets played to 25 points and the third set to 15 points. For matches that are decided in 2 sets, teams have the option of playing a non-counting third set.
This is the first 2012-13 pre-season tourney for USC, which advanced to the NCAA Final Four last season for the third time in the past 4 years. The Trojans then head to UCLA on Nov. 16 and 17 for the UCLA SAC Tournament, with UC Santa Barbara and Lewis also in the field.
