Junior Harrison Jones finished third and senior Steven Starks was sixth on 3-meter in the second day of the Pac-10 Men's and Women's Diving Championships, being held concurrently with the Pac-10 Women's Swimming Championships, on Thursday (Feb. 24) at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash.
Jones, who won the 1-meter springboard on Wednesday, took third with 413.85 points behind first-place Constantin Blaha (451.80) and second-place Riley McCormick (439.35), both of ASU. Starks claimed sixth (360.50) on 3-meter.
Jones' finish was his best on 3-meter at the Pac-10s after taking fifth in 2010 and 10th in 2009. Starks' result marked his 10th top 8 finish in 11 Pac-10 finals and was a career-best at Pac-10s on the board.
