Miner, USC's all-time leading scorer, was inducted into the Pac-10 Hall of Honor last March.
Miner completed his three-year Trojan career (1990-92) atop USC's all-time scoring list with 2,048 points, becoming just the second conference player to score 2,000 points in three seasons. Miner was a three-time All-Pac-10 honoree and his senior season of 1992 earned him the Sports Illustrated College Basketball Player of the Year award and selection as a consensus All-American.
For his 1992 season when he averaged 26.3 points and 7.0 rebounds, Miner was named Pac-10 Player of the Year and first-team All-America by AP, NABC, Scripps Howard News Service, Kodak Coaches, U.S. Basketball Writers, Basketball Weekly and Basketball Times.
Miner set 13 USC records during the 1992 season, including the most 30-point games in a season (11) and career (18).
He finished his USC career with a 23.5 scoring averaged and was taken 12th overall in the 1992 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat.
