TUCSON, Ariz. - Senior All-America middle blocker Lauren Williams had 11 kills while hitting .588 Friday as the No. 5 USC women's volleyball team earned its season-high seventh-straight victory with a Pac-12 Conference sweep at Arizona (27-25, 25-21, 25-19). The Women of Troy recorded their seventh-straight 3-0 sweep in conference play, the second time since the rally scoring era began in 2001 that USC has been able to win seven straight matches in a sweep (2003 national championship season).
Alex Jupiter, the senior All-America outside hitter, led with 16 kills, six digs and two aces while hitting .382 for the Trojans. Senior All-America setter Kendall Bateman guided the team with 39 assists as the Women of Troy (12-3, 7-1) hit .364 for the match. Katie Fuller had seven kills and six digs while freshman middle blocker Hannah Schraer added six kills while hitting .714 (6-1-7).

Fuller went back-to-back, followed by a USC block as the Women of Troy took the 10-5 lead in the first set. Arizona got within one at 12-11 on a net violation called against USC. Jupiter served an ace and Williams and Sara Shaw blocked to put USC back up by five, 17-12. An Arizona hitting error made it 20-15 for the Trojans, but a 4-1 run got the Wildcats back in for the 21-19 score. Jupiter put USC ahead at 23-20, before Jackson and Arizobal cut the deficit to one, 23-22. Williams gave set point to the Trojans, but a USC serving error and Arizobal kill tied it. Arizona then recorded a serving error, but Rachel Rhoades and Courtney Karst blocked to tie it at 25-25. Shaw got the next point on an overpass and Arizona hit long to hand the Trojans the first set.
Arizona led 5-2 in the second set before USC answered with an 11-3 run for the 16-9 lead. Jackson tallied back-to-back kills later in the set to help Arizona draw within three at 23-30, but Jupiter put the finishing touches on the set for another 2-0 lead in the match. Williams started a 7-1 in the third set at 14-13 in favor of the Trojans as the commanding 21-14 lead helped put the match away for the visiting Women of Troy. Jupiter finished the set with three kills as the team hit .419 in the set (14 kills, one error).
