The USC men's volleyball team (0-0 overall, 0-0 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), picked by the league's coaches as the co-favorite to win the MPSF title, opens its 2011 schedule by hosting Canadian power Alberta (17-4, 7-1 Canada West), the No. 2-ranked team in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, on Wednesday (Jan. 5) at 7 p.m. in the Galen Center.
