Former Trojan Greats Break Masters WRs
December 09, 2009 | Men's Swimming & Diving
Competing among 650 swimmers - in what is being called the biggest Masters championship meet in history - Fowler led all record breakers with six marks in the men's 50-54 age group. Fowler was a six-time All-American at USC who won the 1980 NCAA title in the 200y back.
Meanwhile, Kerekjarto turned in a pair of records as well. Kerekjarto was a seven-time All-American as a Trojan and was part of an NCAA championship in the 800y free relay in 2002.
Also joining the WR party were Trojans Eric Tolmachoff (Class of 2003) and two-time All-American Erik Hochstein (Class of 1992). They were part of three relay world marks.
