Due to Friday's rain, the USC men's tennis match against UCLA has been rescheduled. Instead of playing for the Pac-10 championship today, the Trojans and the Bruins will clash for the conference title at 4 p.m. on Saturday (April 21) at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
Both teams come into this final Pac-10 dual match with identical 6-0 records in conference play. No. 9 USC (20-1, 6-0) sits just a step ahead of No. 10 UCLA (17-3, 6-0) in the national rankings. The Trojans posted a 6-1 win over the Bruins when the teams first met this season at USC. If the Trojans can post a season sweep of the Bruins with a win on Saturday, it would mark USC's first sweep of UCLA since 1988 and the first undefeated Pac-10 season by USC since 1987. A victory over UCLA also would mark USC's first outright Pac-10 title since 1994. USC shared the title in 2004 with a 6-1 Pac-10 record.
