USC junior outside hitter Juan Figueroa has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Co-Player of the Week for his performance in USC's 3-game sweep at Long Beach State.
Figueroa had a match-high 18 kills (hitting .467) with 7 blocks in the March 22 victory that moved the Trojans over the 49ers and into eighth place in the MPSF. The league's top 8 teams qualify for the MPSF post-season tourney.
