Hilde Wins Pac-10 Platform Title

Junior Michael Hilde won his second career Pac-10 crown on the platform while junior teammate Kenny Jenkins took second to wrap up the diving portion of the Pac-10 Swimming and Diving Championships in Federal Way, Wash. The swimming portion will run Wednesday through Saturday (March 1-4).

Hilde, who won the platform as a freshman, won again with 347.20, edging Jenkins' 344.10. No one else was close, as Stanford's Dwight Dumais took third with 288.40.

Hilde and Jenkins will next participate in the NCAA Zone Championships March 9-11, where they'll attempt to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
