LOS ANGELES -- The 2006 Scout Day for baseball scouts, scheduled for this Saturday (Jan. 14) at 10 a.m. from Dedeaux Field, has been cancelled due to possible rain expected to hit the southern California area this weekend. The event will not be rescheduled.

USC will open the 2006 season on Friday (Feb. 3) at Long Beach State. The Trojans' home opener will be on Saturday (Feb. 4) at 1 p.m. at Dedeaux Field.
