Hartley Wins 1-Meter At Zone E Diving Championships

USC junior women's diver Blythe Hartley won the 1-meter competition while sophomore Michael Hilde topped Troy's men's divers on 3-meter on the second day of the Zone E Diving Championships on Friday (March 11) in Oklahoma City.
Hartley, a two-time career NCAA champion, won the 1-meter with 612.30. Junior transfer Jashia Luna was 11th (499.20) while freshman Ali Tycast was 21st (214.50).
Hilde, USC's top finisher on 1-meter, also led the Trojans on 3-meter, taking third with 541.60. Fellow sophomore Kenny Jenkins was seventh (477.80) while senior Ray Vincent was eighth (475.95).
The Zone E Diving Championships, the qualifying meet for the NCAA Championships, concludes Saturday with the platform competition.
