SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Moriah Van Norman scored three goals Saturday as the No. 2 USC Women of Troy advanced to the championship match of the 2005 Daktronics Gaucho Invitational with a 9-4 win over Stanford. USC will battle No. 1 UCLA in the championship on Sunday.

The Women of Troy used three goals in the second and third period to take a 7-4 lead. USC defeated host UC Santa Barbara, 11-4, earlier in tournament play.

Sunday's match will have Lexus Gauntlet implications as UCLA defeated USC earlier this month at the Stanford Invitational for a 1-0 lead in the season series.
