Desmon Farmer had a career-high 24 points.
USC is 5-0 in Pac-10 home openers under Henry Bibby and 4-1 in Pac-10 openers overall under Bibby. USC is 12-11 in all Pac-10 openers.
The Trojans have now won four in a row over the Cougars, their biggest win streak over the Cougars since taking five straight between 1990-92.
Sam Clancy has now had at least three blocks in four consecutive games.
Jeff Trepagnier played in his first game this year.
