LOS ANGELES - The USC men's and women's swim teams, both ranked No. 8 and both 1-1, continue their dual-meet season when they head north to face UC Santa Barbara on Saturday (Jan. 6) at 1 p.m.
The Trojan men have been highlighted so far by sophomore Erik Vendt, junior Tamas Kerekjarto and freshman Klete Keller while sophomore Michala Kwasny and Kristin MacGregor have stood out the women.
Kwasny has already turned in NCAA automatic qualifying times in the 400 IM (4:15.02) and the 200 fly (1:58.53) while clocking in with consideration times in the 200 IM (2:00.84), 200 breast (2:16.70) and the 1650 free (16:49.41). MacGregor has NCAA consideration times in the 200 free (1:50.77), 200 IM (2:00.75) and the 100 breast (1:03.12).
The versatile Kerekjarto has already posted NCAA consideration times in the 200 free (1:38.65), 200 IM (1:49.26), 400 IM (3:51.30) and 200 fly (1:48.33). Vendt has done the same in the 1650 free (15:23.88) and 400 IM (3:52.56). Keller has NCAA consideration times in the 200 free (1:38.79) and the 500 free (4:27.18).
