Seniors Honored At Women's Basketball Banquet

Los Angeles, Calif. -- Seniors Danielle Golay, Erica Mashia and Tiffany Washington were honored at the annual women's basketball awards banquet Tuesday night (April 25) at USC's Town and Gown.
Various awards presented to the athletes accompanied the senior presentations throughout the evening. Among the honors, head coach Chris Gobrecht credited the entire 1999-2000 team as "Most Improved" following the team's many accomplishments this season.
Also highlighting the evening, Carmen Krause was presented with the inaugural Barbara Williams Academic Award. The award and presentation were in tribute to long-time friend and women's basketball administrative assistant, Barbara Williams, who passed away on December 30, 1999.

Top Rebounder: Senior Forward/Center Tiffany Washington
Top Defender: Sophomore Forward Carmen Krause
Trojan Spirit Award: Senior Forward Danielle Golay, Senior Forward/Center Tiffany Washington
Assist Leader: Senior Guard Erica Mashia
Most Improved: 1999-2000 Women of Troy
Barbara Williams Academic Award: Sophomore Forward Carmen Krause
