LOS ANGELES -- USC will host the 2000 Southern California Women's Water Polo Regional this weekend at McDonald's Swim Stadium. Matches will take place all day Friday and Saturday in the final qualifying tournament for the National Championships from May 5-7 in Bloomington, Ind.

The tournament features UCLA, USC, San Diego State, Long Beach State, UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, Loyola Marymount and Cal Baptist.

Matches will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Eight matches will take place on Friday (April 21) with six, including the championship at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday (April 22).
