USC To Host Pac-10 Diving Championships

LOS ANGELES - The USC men's and women's diving squads will compete at the 2000 Pacific-10 Diving Championships, hosted by USC, Thursday through Saturday (Feb. 24-26) at the McDonald's Swim Stadium on the Trojan campus.
Thursday's events include the women's 1-meter and the men's 3-meter and Friday's events include the women's 3-meter and the men's 1-meter. The platform competition is on Saturday. Events begin at 10 a.m. each day.
USC's program is directed by first-year head diving coach Hongping Li, a former Trojan who won Pac-10 titles in 1986 in both the 1- and 3-meter events and won an NCAA title that year in the 3-meter. This year's USC squad features the defending women's 1-meter champion, sophomore Kellie Brennan.
Tickets for the championships are $5 per day and $12 for an all-session pass (adults). Student tickets are $3 per day and $7 for an all-session pass.
