SAN JOSE - Freshman Suzannah Johnson scored three goals as the No. 1 USC women's water polo team defeated No. 10 San Jose State, 15-4, on Friday afternoon in an MPSF match at the SJSU Aquatics Center.
USC improved to 19-1 overall and 7-1 in the MPSF and won its 13th straight match. USC visits Stanford on Saturday at noon in the regular-season finale in a game that will decide the MPSF regular-season champion.
The Women of Troy took a 5-0 lead after one period and a 9-0 lead at halftime.
Kimberly Comacho, Nina Wengst and Sandra Milicev each scored twice for USC, while Jennifer Durley, Selah Mapes, Christine Zador, Shelli Linza, Aniko Pelle and Lisa Saenz each had one goal.
