Women's Rowing Team Wins the Cal Cup Grand Final

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The USC women's rowing team won the Cal Cup Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic in a time of 6:45.8 on Sunday.
USC beat out teams from Michigan State, North Carolina, Sacramento State, Temple, Villanova and Purdue in the final. USC won by nearly four seconds.
In a first-round heat, USC placed first in 7:07.06, beating Temple, Gonzaga, Texas, UC San Diego, Willamette and Colorado.
In the Junior Varsity Petite final, USC took third in 7:28.65 behind Washington State and Penn. The Women of Troy placed ahead of Syracuse and San Diego State.
