Women's Rower Wins World Indoor Championships

LOS ANGELES -- Ivelina Boteva, a freshman women's rower at USC, won the 2,000 meters on an ergometer at the World Indoor Rowing Championships in Boston on Sunday and re-set a junior world record in the process with a time of 6:37.9.

Boteva, 18, who enrolled at USC in January and is from Bulgaria, competed against many of the world's best rowers, regardless of age.
