Trojans Lose to Irvine in Four

IRVINE, Calif. - The USC men's volleyball team lost to UC Irvine for the first time ever, 16-14, 13-15, 13-15, 10-15, on Saturday night at Irvine's Crawford Hall.
The Trojans had a season-high 99 kills, led by a career-high 24 from senior middle blocker Szilard Kovacs and 21 from freshman outside hitter Eli Fairfield.
The Trojans hit .293 as a team compared to the Anteaters' .339.
