FRESNO, Calif. - The USC men's tennis team had its season come to an end on Sunday, as the Trojans lost at Fresno State, 4-1, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Trojans end the season with a 19-5 overall record, while Fresno State improves to 20-8 and moves on to the NCAA Championships in Athens, Ga.
Patrick Gottesleben picked up the only singles win for USC, a 6-0, 7-5 victory over Peter Luczak at the No. 1 position.
The Trojans lost the doubles point and Andrew Park was beaten at No. 2, Roman Kukal fell at No. 3 and Gregg Hill was defeated at No. 4.
