Elliott Named Pac-10 Coach Of Year

LOS ANGELES - USC women's volleyball interim coach Jerritt Elliott has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Coach of the Year, the conference office announced today.
Elliott is serving as head coach until Mick Haley takes over after the 2000 Olympics.
Despite having to replace four starters, including three all-conference selections, Elliott led USC to a 13-5 Pac-10 record, good for third place.
Sophomore middle blocker Jennifer Pahl made the All-Pac-10 first team, while Kashi Cormier and Janae Henry were named honorable mention.
Setter Tracy Lindquist was named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman team, with Lauren Killian earning honorable mention honors.
USC, 19-7 overall, plays James Madison and UC Santa Barbara this weekend before starting NCAA Tournament play the following weekend.
