THIS SEASON: Emma Lawson enters her fourth season of competition at USC.
2024 SEASON:
• Scored four goals as a junior
• Scored in three games with a two-goal outing vs. Saint Francis on March 9
• A member of USC's 2024 NCAA Tournament roster
• Earned ACWPC All-Academic and MPSF All-Academic honors
• Also named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll
2023 SEASON:
• Scored nine goals as a sophomore
• Scored in six games with three multiple-goal outings
• Named an MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete
2022 SEASON:
• Scored her first career goal vs. Long Beach State on Feb. 12
NATIONAL TEAMS:
• Competed for Canada at the 2023 World Aquatics Junior World Championships
• Competed for Canada at the 2022 Junior Pan American Games
HIGH SCHOOL: Lawson was a recipient of the 2021 Southridge School Inspiration and Leadership in Athletics Award… Was an NCL Canadian All-Star… Also placed 1st at the 2019 NCL Canadian National Championships... As a swimmer at Sourthridge, won five individual provincial titles and set three British Columbia provincial records in the 50 free, 50 back and 100 IM… Played club for the Fraser Valley Water Polo Club and the Pacific Sea Wolves Swim Club.
PERSONAL: Lawson is majoring in psychology… Parents are Stephen and Rachel… Mother ran track at the University of British Columbia… Father rowed at Bath University (England) and the University of Victoria… Has two siblings: Elizabeth and Andrew… Enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, and watching short films… Would like to visit Greece, Sweden and Switzerland (during Christmas)...
