Alex Beljic was named USC Athletics' assistant sports performance coach in April 2023, in charge of performance for Women's Soccer, Women's Lacrosse and Women's & Men's Swim teams.
Before that, Beljic spent 6 years (2017-23) as an Assistant Director of Sports Performance at CSU Fullerton (CSUF), where he helped a multitude of student athletes and teams achieve their goals, including multiple conference championships with their basketball teams, as well as holding national rankings with the soccer and tennis teams. Beljic came to CSUF after five years at multiple private institutions, bringing a multitude of varied experiences to the department. His first experience as a sports performance coach came at Scottsdale Community College in 2013.
While at CSUF, he also earned his Master's degree in Kinesiology (Strength & Conditioning emphasis) in 2020, and his Bachelors in Kinesiology (2018). Alex also served as a research assistant and co-author on several publications, presenting them at the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) & American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) conferences.
Alex holds the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.
A native of Serbia, Alex moved to California in 2013 and currently resides in Anaheim with his partner, Priscilla.
