Shelby Church enters her second season at USC as the Trojans[apos] top gun in goal, standing out as a talented young keeper at Troy.
2010
Church played every minute of USC[apos]s 22 games as a freshman goalkeeper... Posted 82 saves and allowed 25 goals for a 1.10 goals-against average in her first season... Recorded seven shutouts as she and the Trojans finished with a 13-6-3 record on the year... Set her career high with seven saves in a shutout of Arizona... Named to TopDrawerSoccer.com All-Rookie First Team.
HIGH SCHOOL
Church recorded 59 shutouts in her career at Miramonte High in Orinda, Calif.... Won four league championships and two North Coast Section titles... Named league[apos]s most valuable defensive player as a senior... Named to all-league first team as a sophomore and junior and earned honorable mention as a freshman... Named to 2008 Contra Costa Times All-Winter Sports Team... Played club with Mustang Spirit and Lamorinda United, winning the 2008 Far West Region championship... Competed with Cal North ODP in 2006-07... An honor student.

Church is majoring in kinesiology... Parents are Heidi and Stephen... Has one brother, Stephen Jr.... Enjoys spending time in Lake Tahoe during summers and winters... Has always wanted to skydive...
