Back from injury, Chelsea Buehning enters her redshirt junior season at USC as an adept left back with a promising future on the Trojan defense.
2010
Buehning suffered a season-ending knee injury in the first game of the year.
2009
Buehning played in and started 18 games as a sophomore... Provided a goal and an assist... Had the game-winning goal at Santa Clara and assisted on the game-winner vs. Gonzaga.
2008
Buehning appeared in four games in her freshman season at USC... Played on the back line in games against Alabama, Clemson, SMU and Cal State Bakersfield.
NATIONAL TEAMS
Buehning competed at 2008 U.S. U-18 National Team Camp... An ODP Regional Pool player in 2006.

Buehning was a four-year starter at West Essex Regional High in North Caldwell, N.J.... Named Conference Player of the Year... A four-time All-State, All-Conference and All-County First Team Selection... Ranked in All-State top-20 as a senior... Played club for Montclair Aristocats, winning three State Cup titles... An honor student.

Buehning is majoring in sociology... Parents are Kimberly Walter and Fritz Buehning... Has two brothers, Gerhard and Saxon... Aunt also attended USC, and father Fritz was an NCAA tennis champion in 1979 at UCLA... Would like to travel to Fiji, Germany and Hawai[apos]i... Hopes to keep playing soccer after graduation and pursue an acting career... Born Oct. 4, 1990.
