Carly Butcher enters her senior season at USC, boasting a powerful foot and solid ability to generate an attack from the midfield.
2010
Butcher played in all 22 games and started 15 as a junior... Had an assist vs. Oklahoma and scored the game-winner vs. Washington to finish with three points in the season.
2009
Butcher appeared in all 21 games and started 19 as a sophomore... Had a team-high five assists and scored one goal for seven points... Assisted on game-winners vs. Michigan and Cal.
2008
Butcher was one of four Trojans to notch five goals on the year, accumulating 11 points in her freshman season at USC... Appeared in 20 games and got a start at Clemson on Sept. 14... First career goal came against Alabama on Sept. 7... Had a two-goal game to bring USC back at Georgia... Against Washington, scored the equalizer and assisted on the game-winning goal.
NATIONAL TEAMS
Butcher was named to the U.S. Under-17 National Team roster for 2006 Nike Friendlies.
HIGH SCHOOL
Butcher played in three state championship games at South Anchorage High in Anchorage, Alaska, also winning four league and conference titles... A four-time first team all-conference selection and three-time all-state first teamer... Named 2007 Gatorade Player of the Year for Alaska... Also named 2007 Parade All-American and to NSCAA Youth All-American Team... Played club for Alaska Goldstrikers and Alaska Rush, winning eight state titles... An honor student.

Butcher is majoring in human performance... Parents are Kirk and Becky... Has two brothers, Cory and Cody... Enjoys hiking and clam digging and would like to skydive some day...
