THIS SEASON
USC[apos]s No. 4 all-time assists leader and No. 10 in career points, Ashli Sandoval enters her final season at USC as a mainstay in the Trojan midfield, wielding a powerful foot for set plays as well as a deft ability to feed into and finish USC[apos]s attack.
2010
Sandoval led the team in scoring with six goals, including three game-winners... Coming off injury, appeared in 18 games and started 12... Also had two assists to finish with a team-high 14 points in the season... Scored game-winners at TCU, in overtime vs. Cal, and in the NCAA First Round win over Illinois... Earned All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention... Improved overall marks to 51 career points (No. 10 all-time), 14 career coals (t-No. 10), 23 career assists (No. 4) and five career game-winning goals (No. 8).
2009
Sandoval started and played in five games before suffering a season-ending knee injury... Had an assist in USC[apos]s third game, a win over Cal State Fullerton, to improve her career totals to 21 assists and 37 career points.
2008
Sandoval started and played in all 23 games for USC as a sophomore... Again led the team in assists with nine to now rank No. 5 all-time at USC with 20 career assists... Provided a team-high 21 points by also scoring six goals for the Trojans... Set a career mark with two goals and two assists in a win over Cal State Bakersfield... Named to the NSCAA and Soccer Buzz All-West Region Third Teams... Also named to All-Pac-10 Second Team.
2007
Sandoval was USC[apos]s assists leader as a freshman, serving up 11 for the third-best single-season total in USC history and No. 2 mark in the Pac-10... Played in all 25 games and started 23... Scored two goals along with her 11 assists for 15 points on the year... First career goal came as the game-winner against Oakland... Also had the game-winner against Washington... Assisted on both USC goals in NCAA Semifinal win over UCLA... Earned national honors as Soccer America Second Team All-Freshman and SoccerBuzz Second Team Freshman All-America... Regional awards came as NSCAA/adidas Third Team All-West Region and SoccerBuzz West Region All-Freshman... Named to Pac-10 All-Freshman Team.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was the 2005 CIF Division Player of the Year and an four-time all-CIF first team selection at Granite Hills High... Also named conference MVP as a senior... Granite Hills team was a CIF finalist all four years and won the 2005 CIF title... Named league Player of the Year in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and a four-time first team all-leaguer... Also ran track and cross country, finishing eighth in the 2004 CIF cross country race... A 2004 CIF and all-league first team pick... Played club soccer for San Diego Surf and Hotspurs... U-15 team won 2005 Surf Cup title... A U.S. under-17 national team pool player... Played four years with Cal South `89 ODP, winning 2006 Regionals and 2006 national co-championship.
