THIS SEASON:Caroline Kim, a 2010 senior, has shown improvement each year as a Trojan and continues to serve as a key contributor on the team.
2008-2009:
         Kim became an integral part of USC's team as a 2009 junior, playing in 10        tournaments, nine as a starter. She tied for 38th at the Stanford Intercollegiate, her best        finish as a Trojan. At the 2009 Pac-10 Championships, she was 42nd ... She carded her low        round as a Trojan (69) during the Hooters Collegiate Match Play qualifying rounds        (finishing 24th in individual scoring). She tied for 57th at the NCAA Championships.
SUMMER OF 2008:
        Prior to the season, Kim competed and qualified for match play in the U.S. Women's        Amateur, the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links and the Canadian Women's Amateur        Championships. She also competed in the B.C. Women's Amateur in British Columbia.
2007-2008:
        Kim played in two events as a 2007-2008 sophomore, taking 76th at the Kent Youel        Invitational and tying for 66th at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.
2006-2007:
        Kim competed in seven events as a 2006-07 freshman, finishing with a stroke average of        78.25 ... She finished a season-best 16th (tied) at the Topy Cup, her final round 73 there        a season-low ... A regular in the fall of 2006, she had two other top 50 finishes.
SUMMER OF 2006:
        Kim, a member of the Canadian National Amateur Team, competed as an amateur on the Canadian        Women's tour ... She tied for third at the 2006 British Columbia Golf Association        Girls Junior Championship and played at the British Open Amateur Championships.
BEFORE USC:
        Though Kim began playing golf only in 2001, she has already accumulated an impressive golf        resumé ... In 2005, Kim, who prepped at Terry Fox Secondary School, was the second-highest        scorer in Canada's Future Links Junior Girls Order of Merit (designed to target        Canada's top juniors) ... She won the British Columbia Golf Association Zone 3 & 4        Championship and was fourth at the BCGA Junior Girls Championship ... She was second at the        Girls Junior America's Cup, fourth at the Canadian National Amateur Junior        Championship, tied for eighth at the Callaway Junior and was 11th at the Canadian National        Girls' Junior Championship ... Also in 2005, she competed at the USGA Junior        Girl's Amateur and the Junior World Championship ... Kim also competed at the 2005        Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship in Trinity, Texas.
PERSONAL:
        Kim was born on Feb. 8, 1988 ... She is the daughter of Seog Bu and Gyung Hee and they        reside in Bun Dang, Korea ... She is majoring in psychology.
