THIS SEASON:Â Ryan Colby is in his second season at USC.
2021-22:Â
• Earned All-Pac-12 Honorable MentionÂ
• Went 20-6 overall in singles, going 19-5 in dual matches
• Produced most of his victories from the No. 6 spot (7-3)
• Also played at the No. 4 (6-2) and the No. 5 (6-0) positions
• Clinched a team-high seven matches, including the Pac-12 semifinal vs. Stanford
• Went 9-4 record throughout the season in ranked dualsÂ
• Went 3-6 in doubles with a 3-4 mark in dual matches
• Paired with Paul Barretto (1-5), Bradley Frye (1-0), Ryder Jackson (0-0), Peter Makk (1-1) and Wojtek Marek (0-0).
HIGH SCHOOL: Colby graduated from Laurel Springs High School… Entered USC as Virginia’s top player and ranked No. 49 in the ITF World Rankings… Also was the USTA's No. 2 player in the 18s… Won the 18s National Clay Championships in 2021… Also claimed the 18s National UTR Clay Court title and the 10k UTR Tournament doubles championships in 2020… Was the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) Men's College Connect champion in 2019… Participated in the Orange Bowl… Competed at Zonals for two years and then went on to win a championship in Zonals.Â
