- Sat out the 2016 season while competing with the U.S. U-20 National Team at the 2016 World Cup.

- During her 2016 stint with the U-20 team, Jacobs played every minute of World Cup qualifying action and was named to the CONCACAF Best XI Team as a central defender
- Scored the game-tying goal in the 89th minute against the eventual champions North Korea
- Helped lead the U-20 U.S. Women's National Team to the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Women's Championship and a qualifying bid to the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup
