Bio
2006: Aksel enters his second season at USC as a two-meter man expected to compete for time.
2005: Aksel scored twice in his freshman season, first against Redlands and then against Brown.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Aksel is a member of the 2005 U.S. Junior National Team.. Also played on the Youth National Team and spent two years with the U.S. Cadet Team (2002-2003)... Scored four goals against Greece in 2003.
HIGH SCHOOL: Aksel was named 2005 State and Metro League MVP... Received first team all-state honors as a senior and junior from the Oregonian... First team all-league selection as a senior and junior by the Valley Times... Also swam and ran track for Westview High in Portland, Ore... Played club water polo for Tualitin Hills... Club team took fourth at 2001 Junior Olympics and sixth at National Age Group Championships... Team MVP in 2003 and 2004.
